Underpainting 1-21-23

I worked on this in 2-3 stages each time trying to correct the lights and shadows, and the proportions and negative shapes.  Only used burnt umber and white in various tones. I had put yellow ochre on the canvas first and I was surprised to see how much of a pink tone seemed to appear.  Look forward to next class!
