Compositional Shapes – Jake

Hi Matt

I had trouble figuring out how best to get the texture of the foliage right, and it could still have a darker value.

I made the idea of a tired horse and rider approaching the castle more central to the piece  and removed the foliage in the back for clouds for more value contrast but I think that might have hurt the composition for storytelling because the castle’s the most interesting part to look at I think.
