In this class, we’ll explore how to sketch a complex cityscape using pen. Jake requested a class focused on drawing buildings, so I found a single building shown from multiple angles—right in the heart of Paris.
We’ll start by breaking down the perspective in Photoshop before moving into the drawing itself. Since cityscapes can be very intricate, especially for a one-hour session, I’ll be working on either white or toned grey paper—not illustration board. If I use a white charcoal pencil, it will be minimal.
Our final summer class is scheduled for August 12. However, if I’m called for jury duty, that last class may take place on August 5 instead.
