The iPhone camera does not seem ideal for capturing the drawing. It is quite difficult for me to align the camera perfectly straight to the artwork. If I lived in the U.S., I would do my best to attend your class at SVA. I truly admire your teaching philosophy.

I have one question: in some classes, I notice instructors teach shading using straight and diagonal strokes. Is that considered a standard approach?
I usually construct shadows following the direction of the forms as I perceive them.
