Rembrandt copy – Jake

Hi Matt,

Tried something a little different this week, first time using a dip pen.

The paper I used was a bit smaller than the original etching so I squashed it a little. Did the silhouette of the figures in pencil and then filled the rest in. 

Definitely was a challenge at first but I think it was good practice for me to slow down and be more considerate when I draw. Also hope it’ll improve my hatching and form lines.
