William – study

This is part of a new sketch book series I’m doing on studying the shape, language and textures of mushrooms and plants and was interested in your thoughts on how to approach sketches when you’re trying to study something  and also your opinion on if I refineries drawings too much or didn’t push them far enough  there is also a quick thought I had on color I feel like some of these mushrooms and plants.  you have a hard time telling what they are without color. like always I would appreciate your thoughts tips, and critique on this sketch
