underpainting, larry

Hi Matt,

I did this underpainting on Strathmore oil painting paper. I’m going to spray it with fixative and  try painting over it.

Is this level of detail good enough? There is something off about the likeness, can you help me with that before I spray it.

How do you handle the eyelid crease and the upper/lower lip separation? I’m sure I’m not supposed to paint a thin darkish line?
