Still Life Lesson 4 Pastel: Reineres

Tone gray paper.  Pastel pencils

You mentioned in class I need to lose the edges.  It’s a problem I have as I want to outline everything.  If I’m to do this which edges needs to be softened?

    Hi Matt, thank you for the valuable critique regarding the art of three edges. The loss, the soft and the hard. I particularly like the reverse gradation inside the cup to give more of a 3 dimensional image. I applied your suggestions and there is a big difference. Thank you again
