Statue, first lesson. Barbara

I haven’t got an easel or lighting yet as I have only just started the course so the photograph is quite dark.  I’m quite pleased with what I’ve done although I can see the proportions are wrong and my shading is crude.  I look forward to improving over the coming weeks.  I’m enjoying the slowness of the course –  I’ve had enough of hacks.
