Sandra- Raphael drawing

Thanks for the suggestion to study drawings by Raphael.  My way of studying is to draw.  The difference in the edge line and the many pencil strokes used are fascinating.  Should I be blending as much as I have, or leaving it more sketchy?  I ended up just going with my own style and trying to incorporate his techniques.
