Hi Matt,

First try with Procreate on iPad. The number of brushes was overwhelming, but took your advice and stuck with one for the whole project. Layers were confusing me, as I couldn’t remember what was on which, so going with one. I’m playing with the pressure curve and have a matte paper screen protector. Need way more practice with fine lines/detail. Blowing up to see better, is disorienting.  Just drawing over the same line, and matching the pressure is hard. Seems like one can go crazy smudging?

I thought I’d retry this one in pencil too. What’s your recommendation with how to proceed? Switch between pencil and digital, or plow ahead for a few weeks on digital, stay with pencil and do digital on the side a day or two a week?
