While waiting for the next lesson, I did a monochrome version. I’m painting over a tracing, i.e., painting by number, less to worry about as I work on mixing and technique. Anyway I feel I’m improving. First would this be considered an underpainting, I’m using the paint right out of the tube, or do you thin it with medium? I was going to try to paint again over this layer. OK? When you do the flesh tone video, would it be possible for me to paint over this version with those colors? I feel that my value range mixing just black ivory and titanium white is pretty good now. Would you agree, or do I need more values toward the white end?  Could you spend a couple of minutes talking about how to paint eyebrows?
