Mike – Portrait

Hi Matt,

I’m back to charcoal again, to try to get a better range of values.  In this piece, I used sticks of hard, medium, and soft Nitram. The last time I used Nitram, I was disappointed. This time, I found working from the hard to soft quite intuitive. At the moment, I feel like I need to do something with the aligning chin/neck shadows to get rid of the sharp line that distracts from the chin down.  Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
