Mike – Portrait

Here’s another Photoshop portrait.  I’ve been doing a lot of experimenting in Photoshop lately as I’m somewhat of a novice.  I’ve learned that using the smudge tool and soft brush can be very dangerous because the piece can come out looking very “air brushed”.  I’ve been trying to start with a good sketch followed by soft shadows and highlights.  Next step is to just strengthen everything with an actual brush with little to no smudging.
