Hi Matt,
I tried to do another shading style with lines from a reference I found from a great artist, but it is a landscape! I didn’t find figure drawing in this style, so I tried to do my hand study in this style.
1-Could you please analyze this artist’s line style of shading, so I understand it? (Landscape Style Reference), like the direction of lines and how he shows different values and forms?
2-Does this artist draw the shading lines parallel or perpendicular to the Terminator Line (the line that separates light from dark) ? And do the shorter lines that he drew over the long lines represent the terminator, where the shadow starts?
Thanks alot
Nadim
