    Thank you for the nice comment Sebastien. I used General charcoal pencils. It is a new drawing by the way.

    Excellent rendering here. Old days spirit present. Did you burnish background with finger, cloth or stump/brush? Feels like an old photograph, love it.

    I am sorry for the delay, but I am working part time so I have not been able to see the blogs. For the hair and background I used the pan pastel, black. Using the soft palette I was able to render the value of the background and also the jacket.
