Controlling The Viewer’s Eye – Edges & Value

In this lesson we focus on controlling where the viewer looks first. We do this through the use of values and edges diversity. A by product of this lesson will be to focus on shading in a solid way as seen in John Singer Sargent’s Madame X painting.

This lesson is all about revisiting the basics of image making while completing a copy of a great painting.
