    Hi Matt!
    I realized several things about my drawing style after receiving your critique and I had a question in particular.

      Sometimes I see a value change in an area in the reference photo and I tend to instantly create more contrast around it.
      Also, I have had a philosophy, “Better make it grey instead of leaving it white unless it’s a highlight”. I’m worried that I overcompensate because of it at times.

    What do you think about it? How do I learn to stay true to subtle value ratios? Thank you so much. – Arjun
