Hello matt, I was wondering if you can elaborate a bit on the subject of storytelling that you’ve mentioned in last’s week podcast. It’s a very “hot” subject and many teachers mention that, but there is only the “YOU SHOULD” add storytelling, but not a lot on the “HOW” to do it. And I don’t mean the scenes where it is more obvious like animation where you have sometimes a story to follow, or relationships of the characters, or detailed backgrounds. I mean in a portrait of one person, with minimal background or limited space surrounding him, without many props added, sometimes even without color, just pencil drawings, how can I still add storytelling and mood in those scenes.

    Thank you so much

    Malvina,

If you don’t mind I would like to answer this in next weeks Podcast. I’ll find some good examples.

    Matt
