Matt’s main critique of my work today concerned some edges which were too hard (particularly above the eyebrows), the more subtle coloring of the skin tones, and the glazing effect which Bourguereau used. Taking Matt’s advice, i revised my digital “painting,” and I think it more closely resembles the original. Any tips on how to achieve a glazing effect using Photoshop Creative Cloud?

    Hi Victor,

Nice work. A lot of the glazing effect should be able to be created with transparency in the brush settings.

I think it’s just a lot of experimentation. A good exercise would be to try to emulate stained glass.

Wow you really made a lot of improvements with the drawing! I watched the critique pod and it looked good before, but not even close to now! Well done!
