    Hi Matt!

I am currently doing a series of studies to learn how to paint marble statues as realistically as possible.
I did a couple of digital texture studies of marble spheres and I feel that I got the texture down, but I am slightly struggling to understand how light behaves differently on sculpture than a real person.
Could we please go over the defining characteristics of marble statues as you see them and how I could structure my studies?
I am thinking of Greek sculptures like ‘Venus De Milo’ or others.
Medium of studies could be pencil or digital.

    Thanks a lot 🙂

    Hi Arjun,

Great question. I will do my best to answer it in tomorrow’s podcast.

    Looking forward to it.
