    That’s not ‘sloppy’, that’s ‘loose’!

sat down to do a little more sketching while listening to some artists go on about concept art, illustration and habits they’ve developed

almost forgot – today i was out on a fairy walk.. found lots of fairies

and while i was walking around, i decided to try out making a stereoscopic image – so i took 2 photos with my phone.

The effect is called “Wiggle Stereoscopy” – in case anyone is interested.

the 15 minute portrait came out good – that would have taken me 4 hours lol.

I LOVE your sketchbook pages you upload btw : )

Thanks Lucille – there was a time when that would have taken me 4 hours as well 🙂 The thing that used to always take up my time was getting the measurements / proportions correct – after that i was ok.

Now i find that i get measurements correct pretty quickly without much effort (though sometimes i find my brain and my hand are fighting and will not cooperate).

Looks like we will hit 90 today (32C-33C for everyone else in the world)
. So i did some sketching with values this morning (before i die from the heat)!!!
