    Hi Matt,

I have some questions about how to deal with the case when the shape of some local values on the object go against the form.
For example, If I draw the black spots on a cheetah, they can immediately diminish the feeling of form since they don’t follow the form lines. Another example would be the some places on a statue have darker value while they are actually in the light side of the statue. So the dark local values will make the whole value structure confusing to the viewer because they contradict the value structure when they have uniform colors. How can we deal with such situation in drawing?
