I have a chance to take a life drawing course, which includes a teacher but with limited instruction. He’s there to provide feedback and some guidance but it’s more of chance to work from life. So it’s a bit of a step up from a normal life drawing session without instruction. Anyway, I have only drawn from life a few times as part of a beginning drawing course. To get the most value from this opportunity, should I work through the lessons in your gesture course and apply those techniques, starting with the rough skeleton and working toward incorporating the peanut shape? I believe all poses will be less than 20 minutes. I assume there will be warm up with very short duration poses that gradually become longer. I would appreciate any suggestions you have and apologize if you’ve addressed this before.

The life drawing course or the 60 minute figure course would work. They have many more video tutorials versus the gesture course.
