When you are drawing on the photo reference or atop the art, it is often difficult for me to pick up your lines. I find myself searching with my eyes and saying “where is he?” Might you consider using a brighter color that would be easy to see quickly? I imagine you choose black as it is less distracting to the picture but for the purpose of the critique seeing where you are drawing quickly would be really helpful. You could also try to more often say out loud where you are drawing. You do it sometimes but don’t lots of times also. I learn so much from your critique and appreciate the professionalism you pour into this every week.
