Have just watched the videos in the begin here section and wondered if you consider the Charles Bargue plates as a useful source for practising drawing accurate shapes periodically (as you advised).
I don’t have a lot of drawing time and would rather start smaller than the bust you demonstrated with.

I combine the Bargue plates with Matt’s lessons – so if I have 15 to 20 minutes to spare, I take a Bargue example to practice my accurate drawing. Helped me a lot!

Thank you, the plates finally make sense! I’ll get stuck in.

You can get legal copies for free online. You’ll have to enlarge the copies of the plates in most instances, as the real plates are quite large. Enjoy!

    Hi Gordan,
It’s been a while since I downloaded the book and I’m not sure which site I used. Just now I typed ‘charles bargue drawing course pdf free download’ in Google and got several hits. Good luck!
    Regards,
    Marjan
