Hi Matt. I read that there are two schools of thought to art. The first is representing nature exactly as it is with pinpoint accuracy while the second is representing the ’ideal’. But I am torn between the two. Which one is it if I want to draw in a very realistic manner but alter one or two proportions?
This leads to my next question:
– How do pin up artists learn to alter the proportions of the body in a believable manner?
– Is there such a niche as “composition for sexy drawings” or “altering the reference to make desirable women”?
